Come hear great music by Byrd, Tallis and Palestrina for our May 3 concert. Featured soloists are Lisa Hall (organ), Dan McPherson (bass), with Sean O’Connor as our guest cellist in Ola Gjeilo’s beautiful setting of O Magnum Mysterium. Reception afterwards to celebrate the end of our 2013-14 concert season. Join us!

Ecco will be featured along with the Asbury University Chorale, also under the direction of Dr. Vicki Bell.

An evening of sacred choral music, featuring works by Palestrina, Tallis, Croft, Stanford, Gibbons, Mundy and Gjielo. Dr. Erich Balling, guest director.

Ecco will be performing in two 30-minute concerts this Saturday, July 13, at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill near Harrodsburg, KY as part of their Kentucky Choral Weekend Series. We will perform at 12 pm and 2 pm. Come hear great sacred a cappella pieces performed in the great acoustics of the Meeting House.

Ecco will be the guest choral group for the The Lexington Brass Band’s popular holiday concert ’Tis the Season, on Sunday, December 16, at 4:00 pm, Calvary Baptist Church, 150 East High Street, Lexington, KY.

ECCO will share a variety of both traditional and more contemporary unaccompanied choral music of the season, including German composer Franz Xaver Biebl’s Ave Maria.
